Malabar Ltd. was established in 2001 and has been active in a food market since then. In the beginning it was a one-man company which in 2004 turned into ltd company with national capital. The Malabar Coast situated on the south-west coast of India on the Arabic Sea was the inspiration for creating the name of the company. In the 13th century a Venetian merchant called Marco Polo during his voyages discovered one of the most precious black peppers commonly called Malabar, worth its weight in gold.
We are a direct importer of dried fruit, nuts, almonds, spices and herbs from recommended producers and growers all over the world. The object of our activity is a wide range of sold products, the possibility of negotiating prices and purchasing terms.
We guarantee high quality products and the highest standard of customer service while ensuring satisfactory cooperation. We also prepare raw material for processing and for production of herbal medicine and spice mixes. At the beginning of 2005 we had Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) established and implemented, according to Polish Law requirements relating to trading food products. Moreover, the company regulations of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) were implemented.
